A Leap Of Faith
What We Believe at God's Church
We believe in God, all mighty, all knowing, all holy, ruler and maker of all things, coexisting eternally in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. These three are one.
We believe in God's Word, the eternally spoken Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us, born of the virgin, tempted in all ways as we are yet without sin, crucified for our sin at the cross, risen from the dead, ascended to heaven, ultimately to return for His Church.
We believe in God's Love, revealed as the Holy Ghost, the Helper, dwelling in the lives of all believers, expressing Himself through spiritual gifts, both ordinary and extraordinary, testifying of the work of Christ on the cross, and convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, the irrefutable evidence of His presence being the Love and unity expressed through our lives.
We believe in God's Promise, sufficiently and infallibly recorded as the Holy Scriptures, that God will save His people and redeem the world; that this Promise is certain to all who believe it; that, as heirs of His Promise, our salvation, justification, sanctification, glorification, and eternal destiny are absolutely assured; that none of these are in any way the result of our works, merits, or even cooperation; but that they are all completely the result of an irrevocable perfect work of God, that not only cannot fail, but is in fact already settled at the cross.
We believe in God's Grace, that all mankind is fallen and has rejected God, and is incapable of even the desire to change, and that salvation is by Grace and Grace alone, through faith, and even faith is an unmerited, undeserved gift from God; it is only by the regenerating work of the Holy Ghost that we are saved, and only by the imputing of Christ's righteousness to our account that we are justified, declared holy despite our present fallen nature, and reconciled with God.
We believe in God's Kingdom, come and coming, and now in the world, His sovereign rule and reign over all things, His holy judgment of sin on the cross, His merciful Grace toward believers, and His assurance of victory over evil; and we welcome His invitation, to partake of His Kingdom, His everlasting sabbath rest, and His Promise of eternal life, by observing His ordinances of baptism and communion, and offering ourselves, living sacrifices, on the altar of holy worship.
We believe in God's Church, the Sanctuary of His Word, the Radiance of His Love, the Guardian of His Promise, the Reflection of His Grace, the Fulfillment of His Kingdom.

Amen
